Big Trouble Productions (BTP) was formed by Alex Nathanson and Perry Hohlstein following their first project, How to Build a Bio-Swale, that was made during a service-learning trip through their school. They formed BTP (“If it aint Big Trouble, yer in big trouble!”) as an independent, collectively run organization that works on a wide variety of artistic and journalistic endeavors, but specializes in working with community groups to make films that have a focus on utility and education. They are currently working on their second film as a collective and hope to work on many more.
